Jennifer Lawrence Spills The Beans About Amy Schumer's Sudden Wedding

The actress has revealed all the inside information about her friend's nuptuals

The day before Valentine's Day, comedian and actress Amy Schumer wed her boyfriend of a few months, Chris Fischer, in a small ceremony in Malibu.

Having already learned from her stylist Leesa Evans that the affair was thrown together in a week (Schumer literally wore the first dress she tried on), now one of Schumer's best friends, Jennifer Lawrence, has further spilled the beans on the romantic-looking bash.

Firm friends and rumoured soon-to-be co-stars, 26 year-old Lawrence and 36 year-old Schumer looked like they had a fab time at the spontaneous celebration.

Schumer has posted pictures of the wedding, in which we can see Lawrence having a boogie with the new bride, drink in hand, and posing with Chelsea Handler and Cazzie David (again, drink in hand).

Other photos posted by Schumer show that some of the women of SNL were there, including Aidy Bryant and Vanessa Bayer.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Oscar-winner Jennifer explains that Fischer wrote his own vows for Schumer, which made our Jen quite emotional: 'It was beautiful. It was very sudden, but it was, I was sobbing the whole -- his vows were stunning. It's when two people really love each other and they really mean it, it shows, and it was a beautiful ceremony and an amazing time. I couldn't be happier for them.'

A source told US Magazine that the guests were in fact given only three days notice of the event, via a text message, 'It was a very chill wedding. It was thrown together last minute. Most of the guests found out the wedding was happening on Tuesday from a text message sent out by Amy on Sunday. It was like, 'Hey, this is happening. If you can make it, great. If not, no worries.' People were in and out all night. It was a gorgeous day. Everyone was having a good time.'

Lawrence took the occasion to repeat-wear the pink Philosophy dress she wore to the Lifetime WIE Breakfast at Milk Studios in Hollywood back in December 2017.

However, in true Jennifer style, she suffered from a wardrobe malfunction, she told ET, 'Notice my shirt was accidentally undone the whole time. In every wedding photo all of my buttons were undone. It looks like I was like, 'Oh, you thought this was going to be about you?''
